Introduction
Programming is a series of battles, searches, explorations, experiments and trial and error. The most important thing about learning to program is to not give up. Even if you don't seem to be getting it or it seems to be too complicated, stick with it.
I remember learning to program over 20 years ago. Punch cards were how you entered your program into the computer and the first language I learned was FORTRAN. It wasn't easy. I remember not getting it and copying someone elses program. But by sticking with it, I got it, it clicked.
